In view of the unrest, Sony decided to postpone the PS5 unveiling event scheduled on June 4, with Sony on Twitter saying “We do not feel that right now is a time for celebration. The protest in the US has been long coming, with police brutality continually reported without justice being given. Just as we are experiencing in Nigeria.
Different global brands have taken to their social handles, condemning the killings, and in support of #BlackLivesMatter. These tweets have also be quoted and replied by their competitors, as this is the time humanity needs to come together to fight the common enemy called – racism.
