Nigerian-American writer’s novel to be made into a series on Hulu

We have seen a futuristic version of Africa in Black Panther. We have seen star wars that depicted galaxies. We have seen the other world of Avatar, but we need one written by our very own, and Nnedi Okorafor came into the picture with “Binti.”

Nnedi is an award winning writer, and this work of art is being adapted to a TV series, and it will premiere on Hulu. Nnedi will be working on the screen writing of the series alongside Stacy Osei-Kuffour (Former writer and Watchmen and The Morning Show).

The story is all about a young lady who was destined and expected to lead her community in Africa. When the time came, she got admitted into the most prestigious Academy in the galaxies. Rather than taking on her role, she decided to aim for the stars.

The book won couple awards in the science fiction category. We can only expect a dope screen series. Go! Go!! Nnedi. We priding in you (in jenifa’s diction)
