The journey of a thousand mile begins with a step, and every little thing makes up a large thing. Drops of water daily can lead to an ocean. No little deed is meaningless.
In the heart of Asia, specifically the Majuti Island in india, there was once a barren land that resulted from the incessant felling of trees over the years, and as at 1979, the island was typically a desert, after all trees had been fell. The land was exposed to harsh conditions, and the animals were no more.
Jadav Payeng grew up in the island, and saw how the once flourishing land had become a desert. He couldn’t stay put, and decided to do something. In a course of 37 years, Jadav made it a routine of his to walk to the desert and plant a tree, everyday. He planted a young tree daily at the desert and the result of it today is amazing. The desert has turned to a tropical forest booming with trees and lots of wild animals including the elephants, tigers, rhinos and lots.

Indisciminate felling of tree is bad, and we aee simply killibg the world if we don’t replant them.
The world is at risk, and global warming is on an exponential rate. Save the forest, save animals, save the world.
